  • Karamjit Koko Singh Khanduja, MBBS, FACS, FASCRS is a graduate of Grant Medical College, Bombay University, India.
    He did his General Surgery at Mount Carmel Health System and his Colorectal Fellowship at Grant Medical Center Columbus, Ohio. He was the Research Director for the Colorectal Fellowship at Grant and taught Fellows and Residents at Grant Medical Center and Mount Carmel Health till 2011. Dr Khanduja worked to establish a new ACGME approved Colorectal Fellowship at Mount Carmel that was approved in September of 2012. He has served as Program Director since that time. He has also served on the board and committees of many local, regional and national societies. His areas of interest and research are rectal cancers, colorectal genetics, complex anorectal reconstructive surgeries, anal incontinence and obstructive defecation.
Dr. Padmanabhan is currently a member of the teaching faculty for Mount Carmel's Colon & Rectal Surgery Fellowship Program and Program Director for the Transitional Year Residency.

Anantha Padmanabhan, MD, FACS, FASCRS

  • Dr. Padmanabhan is currently a member of the teaching faculty for Mount Carmel's Colon & Rectal Surgery Fellowship Program and Program Director for the Transitional Year Residency. He completed his Medical Degree in the Armed Forces Medical College in India and his Surgery Residency in India as well before coming to the United States, where he completed his General Surgery Residency at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine and then his Fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He has been teaching and practicing as a physician for 25 years. Dr. Padmanabhan also holds Clinical Faculty appointments at other major central Ohio health systems. He served in the Army during Operation Desert Shield / Storm and retired as a Major. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Padmanabhan has served in various committees and leadership roles; he was Chairman of Surgery and Chair of Clinical Departments at Mount Carmel following which he was President of the Medical Staff of Mount. Carmel Health System. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Mount. Carmel Health System and was Chair of the Quality and Safety Sub-Committee of the Board. He has served as President of the Columbus Surgical Society and Ohio Valley Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. His professional interests include robotic and laparoscopic surgery and treatment of colon & rectal cancers and inflammatory bowel diseases.
Dr. Taylor is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed his General Surgery Residency in 1988 at Blodgett Memorial Hospital and Saint Mary’s Health Care Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Charles W. Taylor, III, MD

  • Dr. Taylor is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed his General Surgery Residency in 1988 at Blodgett Memorial Hospital and Saint Mary’s Health Care Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Taylor completed a Colon and Rectal fellowship at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He has been in private practice since 1989. He is Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Dr. Taylor is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed his General Surgery Residency in 1988 at Blodgett Memorial Hospital and Saint Mary’s Health Care Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Ellen Bailey, MD

  • • Dr. Bailey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Biology summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis. She received her medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis in 2009. She completed her general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee and her Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Washington University in St Louis. She is board certified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. She is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Bailey has been in private practice since 2015
Dr. Lindsey attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan, the University of Michigan Biological Station in Wellston, Michigan, and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received bachelor degrees in both chemistry and zoology.

Mark Lindsey, MD

He graduated with his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He has been in private practice since 1997. He is board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Dr. Madhavan attended Trivandrum Medical College in Trivandrum, Kerala, graduating in 1984.

Jaswant Madhavan, MD

  • Dr. Madhavan attended Trivandrum Medical College in Trivandrum, Kerala, graduating in 1984. He successfully completed his residency in surgery at the same institution and was awarded the degree Master of Surgery in 1989. In 1990, while in the United Kingdom, he continued his training in Surgery and was conferred the Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then moved to Savannah, Georgia, where he entered the surgery residency program at Memorial Health University Medical Center and was Board Certified in General Surgery in 2001. Dr.Madhavan completed a residency in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio and completed Board Certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery in 2002.
Theresa has been a nurse for over 30 years and a nurse practitioner for 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Otterbein College.

Theresa Colbert, APRN, FNP-BC

  • Theresa has been a nurse for over 30 years and a nurse practitioner for 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Otterbein College. She is currently working toward her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Her nursing experience has included med/surg, CCU, GYN/oncology, Mother Infant, Same day surgery and PAT. She held the position of Unit Director on Mother Infant. She has been a nurse practitioner with the colon and rectal surgery fellowship since February of 2013.
