On March 16, we revealed the 38 graduating medical students who matched with us, and the students found out where they will spend the next three to five years to complete their residency training before they become independent physicians.

The match process is the critical path newly minted physicians take to becoming board-certified. During their fourth year of medical school, senior students apply and interview with academic hospitals to obtain a residency position where they can hone their patient-care skills with increasing levels of independence.

Congratulations to the incoming class of residents that will be joining the Mount Carmel family this summer!
